Sutton Primitive Methodist chapel

home branch of the Driffield circuit

The Primitive Methodist magazine contains an account by Thomas Ratcliffe of the opening of the Primitive Methodist chapel at Sutton in the home branch of the Driffield circuit.

The chapel seated over 100 people and cost £116/1/2 of which they had raised £54/1/2.

Where was this Sutton? There are several in Yorkshire alone and I cannot see an obvious one near Driffield.
