1940s Methodist Statistical Returns :–
Primitive Methodist: brick-built, seating 200 persons on chairs. In the Staithes Circuit.
The chapel was built in 1872, as seen on the plaque. Now a home with the addition of an extension at the back of the Chapel.
It must have closed prior to 2005, from evidence from a photo taken at that date.
My photos taken in August 2023 – in the rain but under an umbrella.
