Ministry

A transcription of obituary published in the Minutes of Conference by J.A. West is attached. West writes; “ As a preacher and platform speaker he was aided by a commanding and handsome presence, and in each capacity had attained to no mean position, whilst his abilities commanded the admiration of the whole circuit.”

Family

David was born in late 1872 at North Shields, Northumberland, to parents David, a mariner (1891), and Johanna.

Before entering the ministry, David was a pupil teacher (1891).

David died on 12 August 1900 at Newport, Monmouthshire.
