Reddings Primitive Methodist chapel

In the 1863 Primitive Methodist magazine, G Dobson tells us about the opening of Reddings Primitive Methodist chapel in the Pillawell circuit. Neither I nor Google maps had any idea where Reddings was. See the comments for clarification.
“Reddings, Pillawell. Station.—Here the Primitive Methodists have begun the building of a neat Connexional chapel. The foundation stone was laid by the writer, October 14th, 1802. The weather was most unpropitious ; but a little company of liberal hearted working people attended the service, and £2 were obtained towards the chapel.
After a few observations from the writer, his colleague, the Rev. J. Broadhurst, gave a short address. Mrs. Bennett, Sen., gives £5, the consideration price of the land ; her son, Mr. Bennett, and his wife, give all the stone ; which, together with £7 3s. 6d., the profits of a tea meeting, and other sources of income, will place the chapel in easy circumstances. The planning application to convert the building (now in Gloucestershire Archives) gives the address as Joys Green, Lydbrook
I agree . Pillowell is South of Yorkley in the Forest Of Dean and on the North side of Lydney. The Reddings is also on the North side of Lydney and a Methodist Chapel is on all the early OS Maps at NGR 6344 0358 in Albert Street Newerne now pretty much swallowed up by modern Lydney. This is about 500 metres from The Reddings. There is also a Methodist Chapel on Upper Road in Pillowell at NGR SO 6302 0665. This Chapel is called Pillowell Methodist Chapel and recently closed. Both are Methodist Chapels but I can find no record either was a Primitive Methodist Chapel but nust say that the first Chapel is 500 metres from The Reddings while the second chapel is about a Mile and a half away. This would need to be scrutinised closer for a difinitive answer. Hope this is of some help.
Reddings Methodist Church was in the former Forest of Dean Methodist Circuit. It has tastefully been converted to a residence. I’ve been going to the Forest of Dean for 50 years and never known it used for worship. Nearby chapels are Lydbrook, Edge End, Mile End and Coalway. Only the latter still used for worship
