Services in Frampton Cotterell were held in cottages until they laid the memorial stones for”a neat little chapel on an eligible site” in 1887.
Frampton Cotterell Primitive Methodist chapel was in the Mangotsfield circuit and was one of three different varieties of Methodism in the village.
It closed in the 1960s and there are modern bungalows on the site in 2009.
