The Forest Hill Primitive Methodist chapel shown in Keith Guyler's photograph of 1986, was opened in 1881.  It was called Central Primitive Methodist chapel.

In May 2015 it is still in use as a church known as Balm in Gilead.  It is still very recognisable externally.
