Not sure how helpful but in the minutes of the Berwick circuit there is an intriguing minute. ‘That Carlisle and Newcastle Circuits be written to, to ask their advice as to the propriety of calling out W. Featherstone as a Travelling Preacher.’
It looks to me like he didn’t arrive but I will post anything else I find.
