The attached document describes how John Tomlinson, a PM local preacher, was expelled from the PM Connexion following a dispute with Revs. William Carthy, Ambrose Kirkland and John Wombell in the Belper Circuit in the late 1830’s and how he went on to form the Original Methodist Church.
