Unlikely as he would be a travelling preacher in Berwick (where he was definitely stationed) at age 12
Is it possible this Robert Thirlaway is the same man as Robert Thirlaway of Louisville, Colorado? He arrived in Colorado in the 1870’s; on census he claimed he was b. 1852 in England. Name is also sometimes spelled Thurlaway. One of his daughters, Mary Ann, married my great-uncle James Ora Filley. His wife (from death records) was Isabel Barker.
