Peatfield, Ernest Henry (1884-1941)

Family

Ernest was born on 11 February 1884 at Retford, Nottinghamshire, to parents John Peatfield, a market gardener and farmer (1901), and Ada Kate Hempsall.  His younger brother, Wilfred, was also a PM minister. 

Ernest travelled firstly to Canada and then on to the USA in 1911, where he was a congregational minister.

He married Margaret Lillian Bate Rillstone (1886-1948) in early 1907 in the Truro Registration District, Cornwall. Birth records identify one child.

He married Cora Marion Anderson (1893-1967) in 1923 following a divorce.

Ernest died on 15 November 1941 at Montrose, California, USA.
