Chambers, Thomas (1830-1874)

Family

Thomas was born abt1830 at Hunslet, Leeds.

Before entering the ministry he worked as an iron moulder (1851).

He married Ann Taylor(b1837) in the summer of 1857 at Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. Census returns identify six children.

  • Sarah Anne (b abt1860)
  • Felicia Susan (1861-1946) – married James Booth, a pawnbroker’s assistant (1891), in 1887
  • James Burley (b1863)
  • Ada Arabella (b1865)
  • Aletheia Bathua (b1866) – married George Henry Birkbeck, a pawnbroker (1901), in 1892
  • Jane W (b abt1874) – a tailoress (1891)

Thomas died in late 1874 in Sheffield, Yorkshire.
