Clark, Jonas (1810-1887)

Family

This was probably Jonas Clarke born in 1810 at Purton Wiltshire, to parents Benjamin and Mary. he was baptised on 21 June 1810 at Purton. He appears to have been married twice, firstly to Rachel  (b abt1811) and later to Julia (b abt1813).

After leaving the ministry, Jonas worked as a confectioner, in Birmingham, and later in Woodstock where he died in the spring of 1887.
