The 1913 minutes record H Egerton Chesney as having ‘separated’ during the year whilst a probationer. However there is no record of him being a probationer in the 1911 or 1912 minutes. One can only presume that he became a probationer in ‘exceptional’ circumstances following the 1912 conference, but left before the 1913 conference. He later became a minister in the Presbyterian Church.
