Family
Ebenezer was baptised on 28 November 1830 at St John, Bedminster, Bristol, Gloucestershire. His parents were George, a blacksmith, and Ann. His brother George Tudor Hall was also a PM minister.
After leaving the PM ministry George, with his family, lived in Glasgow where he worked as a city missionary.
He married Amelia Jane Appleby (b1827) in late 1854 in the Clifton Registration District, Gloucestershire. Census returns identify six children.
- Amelia Ann (b abt1856) – a dressmaker (1891)
- Ebenezer Luther (b1857) – a music teacher and organist (1881)
- Jessie Tudor (b1859) – a mantlemaker (1881)
- George Tudor (b1861) – a clerk (1881)
- Kate (b1864)
- Edith Tudor (b1870)
I have not been able to verify a death record for Ebenezer although several family trees on Ancestry indicate a death in 1909.

I think he was living at Cecil Street North Shields on the 1871 Census, next door to another PM minister, HB Kendall. I have researched them both as I live in the house that they both used to live in (it was 2 houses back then so they were next door to each other).
