Hall, Richard (1864-1945)

Family

Richard was born on 25 June 1864 at North Meols, Lancashire, to parents Thomas, a brickmaker, and Alice.

He married Julia Metcalfe (1874-1933) in 1901 in New Zealand. Census returns identify two children.

• Alice Areta Nellie (1902-1986) – married Frank Moorhouse, a pharmacist (1939), in 1939
• Vera Maria (b1904)

The 1939 Register describes Richard as a retired Methodist minister.

Richard died in the spring of 1945 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire.
