Scurrah, Ralph Cantrill (1854-1932)

Family

Ralph was born on 13 May 1854 at Bradford, Yorkshire, to parents William, a tailor and PM local preacher (1871), and Isabella.

He married Lavinia Buckley (1856-1930) in the spring of 1880 in the Wortley Registration District, Yorkshire. Census returns identify three children.

• Letitia Belle (1881-1969) – a day school reacher (1901); married Shields Gill, a congregational minister (1911), in 1908
• Elsie May (1886-1957) – married Frederick Mottram Goddard, a book-keeper (1911), in 1909
• Marcia Blanche (1890-1910)     

Ralph died on 17 January 1932 at Askrigg, Yorkshire.
