Family

James was born on 21 April 1841 at Woburn, Bedfordshire, to parents Robert Studds and Mary Brown. he was baptised on 9 May 1841 at Woburn.

He married Susannah Christian Shaw (1847-1940) on 30 August 1870 at Newcastle, NSW. Family trees on ancestry.com identify eight children.

James died on 12 February 1926 at Sydney, New South Wales. He gravestone is inscribed “Rev. Canon of St Saviours Cathedral, Goulburn.”
