Sharpe, Leason (1896-1959)

Family

Leason was born on 18 April 1896 at Overseal, Derbyshire, to parents Harry Sharpe and Sarah Ann wright .

The 1911 census return describes Leason as a pony driver underground.

He emigrated to USA in 1923 where he was a minister in the Presbyterian church (1930).

He married Edith Josephine Nelson (1898-1988) on 23 December 1923 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Chicago, USA. Records identify four children.

• Marjorie Mae (1928-2014) – married Vernon James Harnett
• Robert Leason (1929-1997)

Leason died on 28 August 1959 at Lalamzoo, Michigan, USA.
