Hazlewood, Louisa (nee Nunn) (1848-1915)

Transcription of obituary published in the Primitive Methodist Magazine by A.T.O.

By the death of Mrs. E. Hazlewood on February 22nd, at the age of sixty-seven, Newmarket has lost a valuable and devoted member. For over forty years she was a member of our Church, at Saxon Street and at Newmarket. Although of a naturally quiet and retiring disposition, she rendered noble service to the Church, and exercised a sweet and gracious influence upon those about her. By deeds of kindness performed in a quiet way many have been helped and cheered.

She bore her sufferings with great patience, and her long illness was brightened by her trust in God and the loving ministrations of her husband and children. We laid her to rest on February 26th in Newmarket Cemetery.
