Whitefield, William (1805-1871)

Family

William was born on 30 August 1805 at Frome, Somerset, to parents William and Sarah. He was baptised on 8 February 1806 at St John, Frome.

He married Jane Maddeford, nee Prior (1815-1895) on 5 August 1852 at Adelaide, South Australia. Records identify two children.

• Sarah Ann (1853-1946) – married William Rothwell Pounsett inn 1876
• William John (1856-1873)

William died on 2 November 1871 at Willunga, South Australia.
