Frank was born on 15 April 1910.

He married Ellen Elin Levitt (B1908) in the summer of 1937 at Hull, Yorkshire. Birth records identify two daughters.

Passenger records identify that he travelled to New York from Southampton leaving on 7 September 1960 (Note: this record gives his birthdate as 15 December 1910). He joined the Faculty at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina and died in Durham, NC on 11 October 1999.
