Family

John was born abt1817.

He married Mary Garbutt (1821-1849) in the summer of 1841 at Darlington, Co. Durham. Census returns identify two children.

He married Jane (b abt1821) before the 1851 census.

John became a Congregational minister at Alloa, Scotland, after leaving the PM ministry.
