Barrass, Edward M.A., D.D. (1821-1898)

Family

Edward was born in 1821 at Colliery Row, nr Houghton le Spring, Co. Durham, to parents Henry, a colliery agent, and Phillis. He was baptised on 12 August 1821 at Houghton le Spring.

He married Hannah Watson of Ripon in July 1847.

They emigrated to Canada in 1853, where Edward became a Wesleyan minister in 1859.

Edward died on 6 March 1898
