Bird, Thomas William (1884-1958)

Family

Thomas was born abt1884 at Killington, Westmorland, to parents Joseph, a farmer, and Sarah Agnes. His mother, Sarah Agnes, widowed at the time of the 1891 census, was a grocer and postmistress.

He married Maude Marie Fairhead (1882-1967) in the summer of 1909 in the Loddon Registration District, Norfolk. Census returns identify two children

• Sylvia Agnes (1910-1986) – married Charles Alfred Delaney
• Brian Rigg (1913-1992) – a physician; moved to USA in 1947

The family emigrated to Canada in 1911 where Thomas continued as a minister.

Thomas died in 1958 at leamington, Ontario, Canada.
